LOI Labs Mentor

Coordinator Volunteer | League of Innovators
LOI Labs is a virtual 12-week incubator program complemented by regional nodes across Canada to be a catalyst for socio-economic development, providing a process for developing early stage ideas into viable ventures for youth under 25. LOI Labs offers formal and informal learning opportunities and connects entrepreneurs to an ecosystem of related services through a unique coaching and mentorship model coupled with online curriculum.

LOI Labs is Canada’s only barrier-free program for young entrepreneurs, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our programming is accessible in every corner of the country. LOI Labs does not take equity from any of our venture partners; our aim is to be the unbiased partner to each venture that we work with.

Cohorts run twice a year in September and February. Mentors and mentees are matched during the second half of each cohort based on business goals, areas of expertise, industry and more.

Mentors are:
Business and community leaders with expertise in a specific field and able to donate time to provide mentees with feedback, perspective and ideas.
Passionate about the future of entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada and have experience working with startups and entrepreneurs
Role models ready to inspire entrepreneurs while providing honest and constructive feedback
Able to connect with a mentee (youth entrepreneur) at least twice a month for six months (in-person or virtual) and provide a support system and sense of direction

Thank you for playing such an important role in equipping the next generation of entrepreneurs. If you want to bring your expertise and experience, we’d love to have you sign up! If you want more info or have questions, please email [email protected].
